Margaret Amy Myers
I am a proud Canadian and feminist author of 5 books. You can “peek inside” any of my books on the HOME page. When not writing, I can usually be found in a theatre, reading on my flower-filled balcony, or visiting my folks. Click on any image below to enlarge it.
North Bay ON – my home town
North Bay is my birthplace, where I went to school, and where I grew up. I was immersed in the arts early: Yes Virginia, TOROS, Kiwais, T-shirt Players, Clara in The Nutcracker, and many more.

Windsor ON– my university years
The University of Windsor accepted only 28 of 500 applicants from across Canada into its BFA acting program and I was one of the 28. After 2nd year, I was picked to attend a two week summer course in Stratford. In 4th year, my main stage productions were That Summer and Steel Magnolias.

MEDICINE HAT AB – my Alberta days
With relatives in Medicine Hat, I visited Alberta from a young age. My parents moved to MH in 2006. That summer I worked there doing various jobs including teen activity leader at the public library and census data taker. I even worked briefly in a lemon at the Medicine Hat Stampede!

TORONTO ON – where I live now
I have been an usher, bartender, show supervisor at several theatres in Toronto. Also, I toured Ontario and across Canada as an actor. Toronto has the best concerts including my favs: James Blunt and Mumford & Sons.

LONDON ON – my second home
I isolated with my parents for 503 days at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, and acquired many cooking and craft skills from my Mum. I took a couple of writing courses and published two books. With my Dad’s help, I built an author’s website.
