Everything can change in an instant.

This is something the seniors at Altman High School learn while living through the aftermath of a tragedy. For the first time in their lives. they are forced to experience love and loss, and the shocking reality of how one night at a school dance can change their lives forever.

Susan has always tried to blend in. When that is no longer possible, she has to figure out how to survive in this new world. One that requires her to speak her mind.

She begins to question her values and beliefs. She explores what really matters. Including how to live with her mistakes.
